AboutThe Generation Rx Initiative works to increases awareness of prescription medication abuse & misuse and promote medication safety. We hold educational events on UK’s campus as well as partner with Lexington community organizations to hold events in Lexington and the surrounding communities. Our events educate and encourage college students, teens, parents, health care providers, and community leaders to actively work to prevent prescription drug abuse. Our events include K Week Pills & Pizza, finals week Study With Smarties Not Stimulants, middle school educational programs, providing education at health fairs, and the annual DEA Drug Take Back Day.
